In case anyone cares, and I don't know why they would
I've started a new blog where all I'm gonna do is post quotes that interest me from books I'm reading. I'm not going to put any commentary on them, and they'll be interesting for different reasons (like, for example, I won't necessarily agree with the message). It's just a way to keep them all in one place and have them open to search engines in case anyone else finds them useful. It's here. Not much on it yet.

i think you should start it on tumblr, since it's WAY easier to post stuff to it - it's already got categories for photos, videos, quotes, regular text and snippets of chats...
Forgive me for my unsolicited, know-it-all advice in advance, but why not just post here and use a special tag? Here is a suggestion.
"High-falutin Quotes"
almostinfamous: To be honest, despite my multiple blogs and gchat obsession and photo-tumblr and electronic music and twitter stream and everything, I'm kind of a luddite, and tumblr sort of freaks me out for anything beyond posting pictures.
Justin: I thought about doing it that way, but I want to set up a system of tags on the quote-blog for my own personal use. Like, once I get enough of an archive there, I could click on (for example) the "nature" tag and get all the quotes having to do with that, if I want to for research purposes (which is the ultimate goal for that blog). How about this: I'll cross-post quotes here, too.
