Stop it

Digby thinks that describing, first, a fraction of the US population who self-organize based on shared opinions and, second, the population of an entire country reduced to the actions of its government, in the same terms is hilariously clever.

I could have said that better, but I got tired of rewriting it.

"The billionaires and the right wing media empire have created a powerful faction within one of the two American political parties..."

One of the two? Digby, they own both parties, they created all the factions. It was the never father's money to begin with...

I just can't do it today. All I have left to hope for is that Digby never gets her own TV show. :/

Salty, hah, I got so pissed off at the "tea partiers and Saudi Arabia are exactly the same because they sure do love oil and hate fags, hyuk hyuk" that I didn't even notice that.

ms_xeno, well, Olbermann's out...

You should have tried rewriting it one more time, because I automatically stopped reading after "Digby thinks." Not much point going on after that.

Liberals are to lefts, what the Tea Party is to Liberals.

Why do we bother with any of it? Life is so short.

BTW, it is always incorrect to say 'Digby thinks'.

I wish they'd give Olbermann's gig to Glenn Greenwald.

Point taken, both of you. bonobo, the way you phrase it (the thing about the tea party in specific) has me thinking, and I may be writing a kind of self-searching piece soon about what it's making me think, so thanks a lot and remember you only have yourself to blame.

About Greenwald, I think he's exactly the highest one could set one's hopes for a TV show host. I'm decently fond of the guy myself.

I will happily take the blame for anything you do or say.

Mind you, I was implicating myself too, in thinking about these fucking people way too much. I mean, I certainly didn't have to follow the link to La Digs, but follow it I did.

I am seriously trying to seriously get these people out of my brain, however. It's just one more way they hurt me. Seriously.
