scattered and happy

the accumulations we are and deem as ourselves, see them as nearing dust - scattered and happy.

see your lot as yours to share and others as theirs - and only theirs - to offer.

thanks JR -

my impression after ethan read me a few passages from ursula k. le guin's translation of the tao te ching.

im thinking about just sticking to one or two sentence entries here. otherwise, i think i try to close up all the gaps...

One sentence posts are one of my favorite approaches!

I also wanted to say that seeing our lot as ours to share is something that has been on my mind a lot lately. You summed it up nicely.

I'm not sharing this last bit of the coffee pot with anyone, sorry.

ethan put it really well the other day. he said something to the effect of, "i don't like thinking that i own things - i just use them. and if i'm not using them, someone else is free to use them."

how does privilege play into this? I don’t believe that can easily be said. there are so many facets – some which are inaccessible from my own position. still, maybe something worth going into over the course of a few sentences!

well, you just enjoy the grounds by yourself then.
