Matt Yglesias is the liberal Jonah Goldberg. Both are well-educated idiots who've risen to positions of prominence within their field based on nepotism and an ability to remain stubbornly, doggedly, even fanatically ignorant about any subject to which they devote their attention. Ill at ease with thought but convinced that trading talking points with like-minded zombies counts as reflection, they're both born pundits.
