Reading the New York Times requires a certain amount of fortitude in which I am sadly lacking these days. I only read a New York Times article with the greatest amount of trepidation and life-long regret. I fear reading the Times will lead to a life of ruin and sorrow followed by a full mental collapse or which ever comes first.
All these years, Osama has been saying "If you want me just whistle. You know how to whistle, don't you? Just put your lips together and blow things up.
"Senior Afghan officials," to the New York Times, are merely "Afghans." (I.e., as though the American funded and protected overlords of Afghanistan represent the sentiments of its people.)
The neoliberals amused at Fox News' photoshopping of Democratic sympathizers should turn their attention to a similar literary criticism of the NYT.
